Annual EEO Public File Report
The purpose of this EEO Public File Report is to comply with Sections 73.2080(c)(6) of the FCC’s EEO Rule. This Report has been prepared on behalf of the Station Employment Unit that is comprised of the following stations: WKBI AM and FM and is required to be placed in the public inspection files of these stations, and posted on their websites.
The information contained in this Report covers the time period beginning March 31 2010 to and including March 31, 2011.
The FCC’s 2002 EEO Rule requires that this Report contain the following information:
1-A list of all full-time vacancies filled by the Station comprising the Station Employment Unit during the Applicable Period;
2-For each such vacancy, the recruitment sources utilized to fill the vacancy, identified by name, address, contact person, and telephone number;
3- The recruitment source that referred the hiree for each full-time vacancy during the Applicable Period;
4- Data reflecting the total number of persons interviewed for full-time vacancies during the Applicable Period and the total number of interviewees referred by each recruitment source utilized in connection with such vacancies;
5- A list and brief description of the initiatives undertaken pursuant to Section 73.208 (c) (2) of the FCC rules.
Appendices 1, 2, and 3, which follow have been designed, in the aggregate, to provide the required information. Please note that the numbers listed on Appendix 2 under the column entitled “Full Time Positions for Which This Source Was Utilized” refer to the number of the full-time positions listed on Appendix 1.
For purposes of this report, a vacancy was deemed “filled” not when the offer was extended but when the hiree accepted the job offer. A person was deemed “interviewed” whether he or she was interviewed in person and/or over the telephone.
During this past year, there was no time when we had a vacancy in any fulltime position that needed to be filled.
With four full-time sales representatives and the Station Manager, this constitutes five full-time employees, so WKBI AM/FM remains within the EEO limit that requires a complete report.

Appendix 3 Section 3:
Supplemental Recruitment Activities Undertaken to fulfill the requirements of the FCC: (non-Vacancy Specific):
STATEMENT OF CARY H. SIMPSON, LICENSEE Traditionally, a station representative has spoken with the Placement Directors/ Directors of Student Affairs at the nearby Pennsylvania State University, DuBois Campus, and the DuBois Business College about suggesting a radio career to the students they work with. However, last year, because of the economic downturn, we did not wish to give false hopes to the graduates, so, we decided not to make these contacts, and again this year, we decided to skip this year's contacts. We all hope that the coming years will be better for everyone.

BROCHURE: Several years ago, WKBI AM/FM prepared a tri-fold color brochure titled “Careers in Radio” with sections describing Radio DJ and News positions, and citing examples of persons who began their careers at WKBI and who have achieved prominence in major market radio and tv. Another section talks about positions in news reporting and producing, and cites examples of WKBI alums who rose to positions with Fox TV, Cornell University, a Newspaper Editor, a Nashville Country Music star, etc. And finally there is a section on Sales and Marketing, and the opportunity to make a good living without leaving home and hometown. These brochures are still available.

If WKBI were to have a vacancy, we would widely disseminate this information so that as many interested and qualified individuals as possible could become aware of the vacancy. However, at this time there is no vacancy.
