Over 280
motorcycle riders and cars came together for the 3rd annual dice run
for Letters from Home Program for the troops to help raise funds for
the Thanksgiving/Christmas mailing that will be shipped out to the
troops on Nov.23, 2008 called "The Brightest and the Best".
The picture shows some of the many bikes that lined the streets of St
Marys recently for the run. Little
Michael Mohney with his Grandfather Lance Mohney of St Marys. Little
Michael, whose father Eric Mohney is serving overseas was the
second place winner in the raffle.

1st Place XL1200C Sportster HD

2nd Place $1000
Michael Mohney 3rd Place $100 gift card from DuBois HD Melanie Allegretto & Alice Benevich
Please join Letters from Home Program
on November 23, 2008 to assemble the packages for the troops at Sacred
Heart Activity Center in St Marys at 12:30pm registration and
1pm promptly the packaging begins. All items for the troops,
including cards of support and treats must be in by November 1, 2008
including any
soldier address that wants a package
from this hometown based all volunteer program.
Campaigns for the 2009 year have been
announced so feel free to join us as we are a year round program, that
collects letters/treats for the troops mailing out in April, July and
November.
